Cyber-shot DSC-W120 as a middle ground camera showed up in many colours and several useful features. W120 available in black, silver, blue, and pink. It has a 7 megapixel shooter and a 32-128mm-equivalent, f/2.8-5.8 lens with Sony’s Super SteadyShot optical image stabilization. With 9-point autofocus system makes the camera lock onto subjects, and face detection can automatically adjust focus and exposure to suit the faces in pictures.

Two useful modes are Adult and Child Priority face detection mode and Smile Shutter mode. Adult and Child Priority face detection mode can differentiate between and focus primarily on children or adults in group photos. Smile Shutter mode can automatically captures photos when subjects smile. The W120 can’t make much changes when taking picture, only rotate and resize pictures in the camera, can’t edit picture.

This camera is capturing its first JPEG after 1.8 second from power on and then 1.3 seconds from photo to photo with flash turned off, 2.7 seconds with flash turned on.
