This laptop also has an ExpressCard/34 slot, which is rare on smaller systems, but very useful for adding after-market extras, such as a mobile broadband modem. The speakers are located under a grill that runs along the front lip of the system. Lenovo IdeaPad has 3-cell Lithium ion battery which are survive as long as other 3-cell Netbooks.
