
HP’s business is taking over the Netbook market with a radically updated version at $499. HP Mini 2140 is using aluminum construction and big keyboard, updates the components to an Intel Atom CPU, and adds an accelerometer for the hard drive, and a full ExpressCard/54 slot. With the aluminium case make HP Mini 2140 looks very elegant and sturdy. The chassis is made of magnesium alloy which ensures zero flex in the keyboard and display areas and imparts sturdiness to the body. This HP’s Netbooks has 92% of the size of a full-size laptop keyboard. The touch pad is stretched into a letterbox-like wide rectangle and the mouse buttons have been moved to the left and right sides. This HP using 6 cell battery which lasts about 7 hrs 30 mins, it is the highest battery life clocked by any netbook so far.
