The Cowon S9 has a good audio quality and OLED touch-screen display. The clear plastic that covers the face of the S9 is inordinately scratch-resistant. The S9’s minus point are the thin construction and the plastic play button lodged into the top edge of the screen. The play button and a track-skip switch have been duplicated by the onscreen playback controls.
